Break Your Glass Slippers by Amanda Lovelace

Hey Friends! I hope you are all safe and healthy and getting in some quality reading time. I don’t know about you, but when I get stressed, I find it harder to focus. That makes finishing books a bit of a challenge. For me, poetry is always a great solution. I tend to choose contemporary collections of short poems, like those by Amanda Lovelace! It was her book the princess saves herself in this one that actually got me into poetry! I liked it fine in uni, but it wasn’t something that I kept reading after graduation. It’s no secret on here that I love poetry now, and Amanda Lovelace remains my favourite! Today is the release day for her latest collection, Break Your Glass Slippers! Not only is it amazing, but it’s marks the start of another exciting series: You Are Your Own Fairytale. If for some reason you didn’t preorder it, grab the ebook or order the paperback online!

For this post I felt like doing something a little different than just a straight review. I made a few pieces of quote art that I want to share and I would also like to share a peek of a couple of my favourite poems from break your glass slippers by Amanda Lovelace!
