Happy New Year’s Eve y’all! Hope you’re enjoying your holidays. Today, friends, I must share my love of Book Riot with you. I have been writing for Book Riot for TWO YEARS. My anniversary is in mid January and I can’t believe it! It has been an amazing and challenging two years, that’s for sure. Writing is my favourite thing to do, but it also the thing that gives me the most anxiety. And Book Riot? I had never written anything for such a large audience before! I had impostor syndrome like mad, especially in the first year. Finally, two years later, I’m starting to feel like I’m getting the hang of things. Book Riot is such an amazing community of readers and writers. Everyone is so kind and encouraging. They’ve helped me grow as a writer and as a reader. This year, I thought I’d wrap up my year in Book Riot posts! I’ve made my favourite ones bold 😉 (I really like quotes). (And yes, I know this is also pretty shameless self promotion :D)
Shiiiiit, that list is longer than I thought It would be! But I guess it is a whole year’s worth of posts. Damn. I’m proud of this list! If you don’t follow Book Riot, you should definitely check it out! Reading Book Riot was what got me into blogging in the first place. It still feels surreal that I get to write for them now. I hope you’ll check out some of my 2018 posts and find something you like!
What was your writing year like?
