Taylor Swift Book Tag!

In honour of TSwift’s new album and my current obsession with it, here is a TSwift book tag!

1. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together – pick a book or series that you were pretty sure you were in love with, but then wanted to break up with.
Divergent by Veronica Roth. I read the first book in one sitting. I was so obsessed I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Insurgent was still good, but not as good as the first one. Allegiant… I just wanted to throw out the window.

2. Red – pick a book with a RED cover.
I just picked up Rooms by Lauren Oliver at my library today. It has a red cover, and I can’t wait to read it!

3. The Best Day – pick a book that makes you feel nostalgic.
Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. This is the first book in the Georgia Nicholson series, and they were my favourite books in Jr. High. My friends and I were obsessed with them. They’re hilarious!
(And, obviously, Harry Potter)

4. Love Story – pick a book with forbidden love.
Lena and Alex from Delirium by Lauren Oliver!

5. I Knew You Were Trouble – pick a book with a bad character you couldn’t help but love.
Hmm… I don’t know. Damon from The Vampire Diaries

6. Innocent – pick a book that someone ruined the ending for.
The Fault in Our Stars. Thank you people who don’t alert readers to your spoilers.

7. Everything Has Changed – pick a character from a book who goes through extensive character development.
Aragorn from LOTR. I mean, come on. He starts off as Stryder, and becomes Aragorn! He comes into his own and is able to finally become the leader Gondor needs.

8. You Belong With Me – pick your most anticipated book release.
Up until last week it was Yes Please by Amy Poehler. Now that I have that, I’m not sure! I am, however, looking forward to The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin and Revival by Stephen King.

9. Forever and Always – pick your favorite book couple.
A little cliché (okay, more than a little) but Lizzy Bennet and Mr. Darcy. THEY’RE JUST SO AMAZING. They are both so human and go through so much before they end up together. Just amazing. Amazing.

10. Come Back, Be Here – pick the book you would least like to lend out, for fear of missing it too much.
This is a tough one. I’m always on the fence about lending. On one hand, I want people love the book as much as I do, so I’m like, READ THIS. NOW. On the other hand, I’m scared they will hurt it. I don’t know if there is one book I for sure wouldn’t lend. There are a few that I would lend only to trusted parties. Actually, no. I will only lend to trusted parties. It doesn’t matter the book.
